Fashion

   Dress codes exist in every profession . Starting with the uniformed personnel down to the fashion conscious,the populace dress accordingly . Famous fashion designers have often made fashion statement and dictate the fashion trends. Some have managed to maintain a clientele that have remained loyal to the fashion icon but others has moved on to other  newcomers .

   The legal fraternity has their black and white attire . The policeman are in their blue uniform while the army is in their typical jungle khaki wear . Each profession is recognisable by the colour . What about the schoolchildren ? The drab dull dark blue with a white top has a saving grace in that the dark blue can be dirtied and pass muster . But the secondary blue with white for a girl and the male is in dirty green are not that eye catching. Fortunately preschoolers have quite colourful attire if they need to be uniformed .

  I am all for decent dressing . Of course , I am in favour  of fashion but there is a time and place for everything . Some young adults do not know how to dress for the place . They do not know the meaning of respect other people . If young adults break the dress rule , what can we expect of the teenagers who are still did't know everything .

   Teenagers should know when not to come in shorts or funny T-shirts . Female teenagers should not be attired in flimsy clothes or short skirts for formal place or event . Their shoe attire should be appropriate . Flip-flops , unbuckled sandals or dirty sport shoes are known as old fashions .

   Sometimes, I do not blame these teenagers for their parents are seemingly attired and sometimes we find that mothers are older version in their daughters attire . With such role models, is it of any wonder that young ladies fail to see the logic of being approriately dressed?

   I feel that older adults should set a good example to the younger genaration . I believe that it is fine to adhere to changing fashion but there is always a limit to being overdressed or underdressed for some occasions . You do not want an observer or fashion editor to say that you look like a Chrismas tree .On the other hand ,someone might comment that you  did not have a cash to buy enough material to sew that outfit .

   Nevertheless , there are some mothers and fathers and grannies who are fashionable yet decently clothed . These are the ones to be emulated . Blind pursuit of fashion is not the way to keep you in spotlight . Learning to have a sense of fashion , knowing which style,colour or cut suits you would go a long way to turning you into a lady or smart gentleman .

Keep Environment Healthy

Nowadays, environment issue has become a hot topic in the society. Lots of people are worried about the Mother Earth and man’s destructive impact on it. The topic has been resolved by many side of the world. Most people are increasingly aware of the need to protect  our  environment.

First step is choose to walk short distances instead of taking your car every time. Go walking to the gym, to work, go walking to run errands,or use a bicycle. Both cycling and walking are good exercises. And each time you avoid using your car, you are contributing to reducing air pollution. You are saving fuel, saving money and getting a good workout too.

Second step choose an open area or ground near your residence or workplace. Unless there's any law restricting you from growing trees in that area, go ahead, grow trees. Plant a tree every month, encourage your friends and colleagues to join you. Have more and more trees planted and there will come a day when you have a green stretch of land thanks to your effort.

 

Next is recylce n reuse whatever and whenever you can. This is the best measure to save the environment. A simple way to do this is to reduce the use of rubber and plastic. Instead, use paper bags and cardboard containers. Even the practice of buying in bulk can help save a lot of packaging material, thus contributing to saving the environment. Buy products that you can reuse. You can reuse daily-use items like old wood, scrap paper to make wood and paper articles and old clothes. All the things you can donate them to the needy or make other cloth items from them.

Last but not least use water wisely, Water is a very important natural resource. It's we who waste it, pollute it. The simplest ways to save water - turn off water taps after use. Use of flushes and showers can lead to wastage of water. Use only as much water as necessary. Do not dump garbage down a storm drain. When you visit a beach, see that you don't spill food or dump waste around. Do not pollute rivers by dumping garbage, sewage or other waste material in them. This pollutes water bodies. There are laws prohibiting you from doing this. But then it has to come from within - the awareness and the awakening. Water is so precious, we can't waste or pollute it.

In conclusion, environment pollutions are affecting not only individual but also entire countries all over the world. Overall, I suggested people to use the best ways that i has given it will help somewhat with all the methods.

Book vs Movie

A lot of parents want their kids to read the book then watch the movie. But why? If you read the book, you have an image in your head of what the character looks like, what their voices sound like, and what the scene looks like, and usually it is pretty good. But when you watch the movie, all those images get shattered.

Writing a book is easier than making a movie. With a book you can describe places that come out of your imagination, which could never become “reality” no matter how hard Hollywood tries. Movies can also be better than a book. With a movie, you don’t have to read anything, you can watch a movie while doing homework if you wanted to. But with a book, the only thing you can do is read, you can’t read a book and do homework at the same time, that’s impossible. I’m not saying that I love read a book just because I had to actually read it, but when you’re reading a book, all you can do is read the book.

But, with a book, you can bring it anywhere you want, and stop whenever you like and later, just start reading exactly where you stopped. But with a movie, you kind of have to watch it at home, and you have to remember when you stopped in order to start again. 

One thing that I don’t like about movies is that people only make movies around 3-4 hours long because they are afraid that people won’t watch it if it’s too long, which means they have to cut a lot of parts out and then put some more parts in to let it make sense. But with a book, it can be as long as the author wants it to be, as long as it all makes sense. I have seen people who read books that are over 600 pages long and not mind a bit, but when a 3 hour movies comes, they just can’t concentrate that long.

These are all the main differences that I can think of, and most of them are in favor of the book. So I conclude that books are better than the movie.

Is Jogging or Cycling more effective?

  Jogging and bicycling are both popular recreational and fitness activities. Both can help with weight loss and control and cardiovascular fitness. Each has its advantages and disadvantages. Many people do both and joggers and bicyclists often share the same trails in parks and exercise paths. Both can be either individual or group activities and neither requires any extreme skill. You ought to get a physical examination before doing either if you're not already exercising.

  Jogging is more of a full body workout, because you swing your arms as you jog with your feet and legs and that motion will exercise shoulders and abdomen. It also is a continuous activity and a higher impact exercise, with the feet striking the ground with some force. That helps build bone density. Its only equipment is a good pair of running shoes and comfortable clothing.

Bicycling is a low impact exercise, easier on the feet, knees, hips and lower back because the feet rest on the pedals. Its intensity varies because a rider does not have to pedal constantly and can coast at times. It requires more skill because a rider has to maintain balance on the two wheels, but a bicycle rider may be more likely to fall than a jogger. Cycling also requires more equipment a bicycle and a helmet at a minimum.

  Both jogging and bicycling burn calories to help eliminate excess body fat, but the intensity of the activity affects this for both exercises. Jogging at a pace of 12 minutes per mile and cycling at 12 to 14 miles an hour will burn calories at about the same rate but fitness riding a bicycle 20 miles is equivalent to running 5.6 miles.

Mahsuri's Tomb In Langkawi Padang Matsirat Attractions

Mahsuri’s Tomb is the crypt of the legendary Princess Mahsuri. Located in the village of Mawat, 12km from Kuah, it is also known as Makam Mahsuri. Most of the island’s natural attractions have fables attached in true Malay style and Mahsuri’s Tomb is probably its most famous legend. The story begins with the beautiful Mahsuri, a maiden (or princess by some accounts) born over 200 years ago, who married the love of her life during a time of conflict with the Siamese. Her husband went off to fight in the war and her mother-in-law, jealous of her beauty, vengefully accused Mahsuri of adultery.

Mahsuri protested her innocence but the village elders tried the young girl, found her guilty and sentenced her to death by stabbing. She was tied to a stake but when she was pierced with the ceremonial dagger she bled white blood, a sign of her innocence. With her dying breath, Mahsuri cursed the island with seven generations of bad luck. Later the Siamese conquered Kedah and invaded the island – the inhabitants of Langkawi set fire to their staple crop and poisoned their wells in order to halt the advance of the invaders. Legend has it to this day traces of burnt rice can be seen in nearby Padang Matsirat (The Field of Burnt Rice) especially after torrential downpours.

Working Mother :)

Every mom is a working mom but some work outside of the house. They say when work outside they will get great rewards comes great responsibilities, and to bring up their children in an ideal environment, mothers work to support their family. 

A mother is the most important person in the house. The whole house needs her for getting help with food, clothes, studies, finding lost stuff, managing closets and wardrobes, getting ready for work and all. She is there to make sure everyone gets his or her desired things on time. Along with all this, if a mother goes to work, then this can become very challenging. Some women do not give up work after kids because they are workaholic and cannot live without it. If they do not work, they feel that they are useless and lazy. However, this can get very hard if they have kids who are on mother feed or are too young to live on their own. It gets very busy to look after kids and work, and even husband and house. They do not find time for themselves and are always caught up with either office work or home management. It is good to have a off day and let other people look after the house on the weekends so that they can relax.

Most of the working moms are active for their families. They feel proud and confident that they are making their exist useful. It might be very hard for a working mother to have healthy relationships with their children because they are out for most of the day. Despite of all the hardships they may face, working mothers ever give up their hopes and efforts. They are determined to work for a better future and their biggest motivation is their children.

We should all realize the fact that whatever our mothers do, they do it for us and should cooperate with our mothers to help them with house work and make them happy with our attitude or studies.

Disadvantages of Social Network in "English Language Learning"

Disadvantages of Social Network in English Language Learning:

     Beside advantages of social network in education, there are also some disadvantages of social networking in language learning. Many researchers has conducted research on this matter and many of them conclude that social networking can be subjected to crime especially to the youth or students. Because social networking offers the users to communicate each other without any boundries that will be used by the bad people to to do crime to the others.

     Networking websites can make people or especially students become very addictive. People spend more and more time at computer with makes them isolated from real life. In the term of language proficiency, many young people write uncomplete or slank english words which are not found in English dictionary. Some of the use abbreviation which sometime confusing to the others. Such as they use ‘text language’ in their normal day to day vocab, saying things like ‘lol’ (laugh out loud), ‘btw’ (by the way) and ‘atm’ (at the moment).

     So the conclusion, there are some advantages and disadvantages of using social networking in education including in English language learning. It can encourage students to engage with each other and to express and share their creativity and can create a better English communicative environment for students. The other hand, social networking is lack of humanitarian aspects and create confusing language because using slank words or abbreviation which are not found in English dictionary.

The way that parents have avoid their children from spending their time at social network

  Nowadays social network has being a trend activity in every second for people in this world especially for teenagers. This can be negative activity for people and teenagers because it can help us to be antisocial person that only support by gadgets to know each of people in this world.

  Beside that, with social network it also can contain the negative relationship between parents and children. This happened because while each of the family spent more their time with gadgets that each of them have and do not speak or discuss to each other about their daily life.

  The way that parents have to avoid this problem from happened to their family for a long time that can be disorder each of them is parents have to make a rules in their family. The example of the rules that have to make in each of family is put away all of gadget while they were with family. Next, they have to teach each of family to do indoor or outdoor activity because that can help them to make a happy memories among them.

Disadvantage Of Social Networking To The Community

   At this time, the use of social networking sites on the internet is very popular in Malaysia. Social networking sites like "Facebook", "My Space", "Frienster", and so get the attention of society in this country.There are some members of the community in Malaysia who have made use of social networking sites on the internet as a medium to fill their time. This is caused by the applications that are in advanced social networking sites can attract the masses in Malaysia.

   The disadvantages of social networking communities is cause defamation and easily disseminated to all users of the social networking site.For example, our country was shocked divorce cases in Facebook account. This case has received severe criticism from the majority of Malaysians.Such act is embarrassing because we have polluted the sanctity of nature as a religion of Islam

   Other effects of the use of social networking through the internet can be the occurrence of cases of unexpected such as forgery and fraud. This case, there are many cases of fraud occur, especially among female students. These things happen is because they follow the desires of a friend who had just known in the universe.For example, their partner will send a short message (SMS) to make an appointment at a place not many people. Upon their arrival there they might be tricked or being raped by a fellow female student's universe.

   In conclusion, the use of social networking sites on the internet have an impact on the pattern of life in Malaysia. Therefore, parents have an important role to avoid the adverse effects of its use because prevention is better than cure.In addition, communities need to have the discipline and fortitude to change their lifestyle by using social networking sites to good use and activities that are beneficial to improve the efficiency of people's minds so that they become first class mentality.

1.5 million people use MySpace and Facebook, the door for social networking abuse is left wide open. Over the past several years, social networking websites such as MySpace, Facebook, and twitter have exploded in popularity, especially among children, teenagers and college students. However, recent events involving child predators and other dangerous individuals using these sites have raised concerns about safety and security. Many parents view social networking websites with suspicion while having limited understanding of what these sites really are or how they work. Used responsibly, social networking sites do not pose a danger or threat to anyone. MySpace and Facebook have numerous benefits for their users in terms of interacting and talking with other people, but also provide comprehensive privacy and safety features. For example, Facebook and Twitter does not allow people to view others’ profiles unless they are friends, which require both people to confirm their relationship. It is even possible to limit the parts of a personal profile which are visible, which it is visible to, or make the profile completely invisible to everyone.

In the past three to five years, we have seen a rise in the use of social networking sites. Along with the rise in usage, we have also seen an increase in the number of rapes, kidnappings, and murders due to these popular social networking sites. Although this is a majority problem that concerns all social networking site users, college students who use these sites in alarming numbers may have a bigger problem to deal with when it comes to the things they post on their site. One of the reasons that social networking sites have become popular is the fact that students are able to do a variety of things on one site while keeping in touch with friends. A student can log onto their MySpace or Facebook and write a blog about their life, check in with a friend through their page to see what has...Futhermore, the most people used social network is Wechat and Instagram. wechat can search by people nearby and by using instagram can upload picture and updated activity daily life.

Disadvantage of social network for student

We all know that social networking is a product of technology and technology brings new kinds of crime. While many people use it for wholesome, ethical, and healthy reason.The impact of social media and social networking sites on the behavior of children and teens is very disturbing. We’re not saying that social media is bad but The issue of the technology is what makes it bad. It's much easier for young people to use for bad things like searching about violence or to fight with each other.

 However, research has shown that social networking sites can be very addictive to students. People who use social networking sites for their daily communication are hooked to use and sometime they just skip their balance diet, they not take enough rest and ignore their homeworks. . Additionally, constant students from involved activity that organized by school or college. They become so dependent on it that they start to think making contact with other people outside the social network is not necessary and not important.  

Conclusions social network on education is very nice but not make the students lose focus on their studies and ignore the work given. Parents must take action before something untoward happens. Controlling their action and make schedule when they can using social network.

    Social networking site is very popular amongst people all over the world nowadays. The online social network is composed of several large well known top social networks such as Facebook, Twitter, Youtube dan LinkedIn. These social networking websites create an online community of Internet users, each offering different advantages of social networking to its many members. There are three common advantages of social networking and there are communication, up-to-date information and business opportunities. 

The first advantages of social networking site is that the people can communicate regardless of distance from each other at very low cost. Relationships among family, friends and relatives grew closer. With one click, they can share the latest news or commenting on pictures uploaded to their profile. Finding new friends on site is also very easy compared to the conventional method. When they interact with other people through the internet, it becomes easier for shy people or those who have low self-esteem since they don’t have to talk with people face to face. They can share and learn about other countries culture, people lifestyle, places of interest and many more. However, people need to be extra be careful when they want to meet friends whom they know from social networking sites so that they will not be cheated or lead themselves into dangers.

Having a social network accounts is a must for everyone because it can spread information quickly. For example, you can now get live traffic information updates using the popular micro-blogging site Twitter. This service will let you know of any major traffic incidents, along with timely information to help you on your way efficiently. More people get their news from the social network than from newspapers or radio. People share links to latest world news or sports events by e-mail, post articles on their Facebook and other.

Social network.

   Social network are becoming extremly popular among all of people in these day. Many of them like to spent their time with using the social network such as Facebook and Twitter to talk with each other.Most of the user is come from teenagers , they probably will spend more than 10 hours with all of social network.

    More than half of people today will shared all of the moment in their life in social network , this happen because with sharing in social network they will update the latest information that they are doing in that day.Beside that,using the social network it can help we making new friends throughout the globe.Some of them will take almost 18 hours a day to chat with their friends in social network.

   Using social network also it may contain the  many of  bad  thing,this is because by using the social network without any of protection in time of the day will make our body become no energy and drawn with no reason.Social network is the most  popular network that can help teenagers spend a lot of their time with chatting,posting immoral picture and playing game a long time without study or do a revision.

   However,spending far too much time in social network will make a bad thing because a person who is whiling away hours in front of a laptop or computer should put their time to a better use like go to do some outside game or spending their time with family or friends.

    Lastly,social network also can make a good thing to us because by using a social network we can find many of friends that come from different country and can help we find a future husband and wife using the social network with knowing and meet each other.

ABOUT MYSELF :)

   My name is Nur Syahirah Begum Bt Mohamad Baiza . I was born on the 12 of march in 1995 , which means I am 19 years old now and my place of birth at Hospital Alor Star . I have got 3 siblings an elder sister and 1 younger brother . Then I has got my mom . I'm mostly close with my sister, as she's the only sister I have . But my sister already get married last year . My father passed away since my age was 9 years old . However, I do love my brother too and make the most of it whenever I am with him .

I have been living and studying at Kedah until I finished off my highschool . Now I choose College Poly-Tech Mara Bangi (KPTM) to continue my studies . Hopefully I will be able to finish off with some great grades and then my step sister and I plan to study abroad in Korea . I love going to school and I have always taken my studies very seriously. I have never said to anyone in my life, that 'I hate studies'.  I have got big dreams , when it comes to studies . Since I was 6 years old , I decided to be a business woman . So that is my goal and I always try to aim to do my best at school , so hopefully my hard work will pay off in the end . I don't really know why I decided to be a business woman . 

 Some interests I have got are reading books , wacthing movies and praying . I love to read books , because books can always be true friends . They never demand neither do they complain . This is the way I look upon books . Mostly I read novel (LOVE STORY) . 

Moving on to favourite movies Titanic , Romeo & Juliet , Twilight . Basically the list can go on and on . I must be up to date with the latest movies 

 Then last but not least I love praying . I pray as much as I can . Being a muslim and not praying , just doesn't go together , so that is why I pray . I also feel that whenever I pray , it helps me getting forward and achieving more and more . Thats all from me .

My name is Ainal Maisara Bt Ahmad Mustaffa Goh. I'd like to be called as Mai. I'm studying at Kolej Poly-Tech Mara Bangi known as KPTM Bangi in Diploma Business Management. I choose Kptm Bangi because its near to my house. I was born on the 2nd of December in 1996, at Hospital Sabak Bernam, Selangor which means I am 18 years old now. I have two brothers and one sister. I am the third of four siblings. I lived with my family. I'm mostly close with my sister, as she's the only sister I have.

My father's name is Ahmad Mustaffa Goh Bin Abdullah. He is chinese muslims. He work as Plantation Advisor at Tradewinds Plantation. My mother's name is Alina Bt Haji Ahmad is a housewife. My eldest brother name is Ahmad Farouq Imran, he futher his studies at UNIMAS Kuching Sarawak. My sister's name is Ainal Mardia, she studies at MSU Shah Alam in Diploma Graphic Design while, my youngest brother still studying at Maahad Tahfiz Sulamaniyyah, Teras Jernang, Bandar Baru Bangi.

I live in Bangi at Selangor. My old school is Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Jalan 2 that known as Sekolah Menengah Bandar Baru Bangi. At school i was a naughty girl that have discipline problems, i always make my teacher worried about me because my attitude. Teacher always say to me that i have to study hard and study smart cause i will sit for SPM examination. But now i realize that study is more important than everything. If not, I'm not here at KPTM BANGI to continue my study in Diploma Business Management.

Mostly I read malay's novel. Currently i am reading a novel 'Cukup Derita Itu by Siti Rosmizah'. Moving on to favourite movies; Titanic, Romeo & Juliet, Crash, Twilight. Basically the list can go on and on. I must be up to date with the latest movies. I don't like to eat any vegetables and seafood cause i have an alergic.

My name is Nor Suhada Syafika binti Mohd Yazid. Just call me Fiqa. I stay in Shah Alam, Selangor. I'm in first semester and take Business Management course at KPTM, Bangi. I am going to tell you little bit about my background and interest.

I was born in Hospital Tengku Ampuan Rahimah,Klang. I like to play badminton. I always enjoy shopping, and go for holiday with family.

My ambition is to be a succesfull businesswoman. Thus, i must to study hard and be more mature. I hope that my life will be better and i hope one day i can help my family to change our life.

Ohh! Before i forgot. I love to story about my family members. First, my hero. His name is Mohd Yazid Bin Mahat. He is a policeman. He will keep our family safe.

Next, the wonderful woman i've is my mom, Umi Kalsom binti Karim. She is very hardworking to manage anything about our needs and wants. She is the good listener. My name is Nur Farahin binti Abdul Aziz.I was born in 21st of March 1996,which i was in 18 years old right now.I have got 3 siblings,the older is 23 years old and the youngest is 15 years old.My father's name is Abdul Aziz bin Samsi@HJ Shamsudin work as a soldier while my mother 's name is Azian binti baharom is a housewife.

I live in Semenyih that is state in Kajang,Selangor. I love to go to school ,my school name is Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Bandar Rinching.I always take my studies very seriously because with that it can help me to be a success person.

Beside that  I love  many thing in my life,example pet and children. I love to play with children because it help me to release my stress or the moody side of me. Animal is one of my favourite pet,example the pet that i love are cat,hamster and many of animal that have short and fine hair.

Watching movie and listening music is the thing that i love to do in my free time in weekend.

Cooking has been a huge interest of mine.My mom is a great cook especially in Asian cooking.I think i get it from her.From my point view having learned how to cook,makes a persons life much easier.

My name is Syarifah Nur Atiqah bt Sayed Mohamed Noor. I was born on 26 of February 2014 and now i am 18 years old and currently living in Ipoh the state capital of Perak. I am the forth of five in my family. i have two sisters and two brothers. I live with my family. My father, Sayed Mohamed Noor is a pensioner of Malaysian's Goverment and my mother, Faziah Bakar is a clerk in Perbadanan Kemajuan Negeri Perak. I am from humble family.

I am a person who is positive about every aspect of life. There are many things I like to do, to see, and to experience. i also to read, think, dream, talk, listen, to see the sunrise in the morning, to see the moonlight at night,to sing loudly, to collect the canvas shoes, to feel the music flowing on my face, to bake sometime new, to smell the wind coming from the ocean, to look at the clouds in the sky with a blank mind,to thought experiment when I cannot sleep in the middle of the night. Ialso  like to sleep late, to get up late,to be alone, to be surrounded by people. The most beautiful place i was go is Mecca, I like the flat cornfield in Champaign and the delicious food and comfortable shoes, I like good books and romantic movies. I like the land and the nature, I like people. And, I like to laugh. Those things i like to do is to release all my problem in my life. When you do all those thing you will know that life is not to be unhappy but to be happy with people that complete your life. I am also a weird person. I don't like to eat any vegetables n some fruits like watermelon, dragon fruit, star fruit, and papaya.

I think thats all about myself. I've to try to improve my work performance and myself, I believe there are still many things I have to learn, and need to strive for having a better life in the future. Last but not least here i would like to say Salam Aidilfitri to all muslim in this world, sorry for my wrong doings and may Allah bless our life and till we meet for the next Ramadhan inshaAllah.
